1.Can the RB615/RB15 clone be used only between this model of walkie talkie? Can you clone other walkie-talkies?
Answer:The clone function is only applicable between RB615 / RB15.
2.How to use the Wireless clone function?
For the first radio’s setting:When it turns off,press power ON/OFF and UP button.If it indicates by a flashing red light,it starts cloning.Long press ON/OFF button to exit.
For the other radio’s setting:When radio turn off,Press power ON/OFF and DOWN button,the radio will give a sound ,and turns off automatically.Turn on your radio,it will has the same frequency and CTCSS settings with the 1stradio.If it indicates by a flashing green light,Clone is done.
Note:The first radio has to be activated for cloning.No quantity limitation for other radios.
3.Is RB615/RB15 compatible with other Retevis walkie-talkies?
Answer:By default, no need to reprogram,RB615 is compatible with all retevis 16-channel PMR walkie-talkies, and RB15 is compatible with all 22-channel FRS walkie-talkies.
4. Can I use the earphone to achieve the VOX(voice activate transmission)?
Answer:Yes,you can speak directly to the earphone microphone after you have turned on the radio VOX.
5.How about the talk range?
Answer:Talk Range depend on many factors,like the output power,obstacles,weather,battery power and so on.Usually RB615/RB15 can up to 0-1.5 km in the city area,0-3 Km in the village area.
6.Can I change the frequency with third-party programming software?
Answer:yes,you can change the frequency with the third-party software.If you need the programming software,pls contact the customer service.
7.In what frequency range can i program the radio?
Answer:UHF 400-480MHz
8.Where to buy the programming cable？
Answer:You can choose from Package D/H if you need the programming cable.the USB charging cable in standard package can’t be used as programming cable.
9.How to lock the channel?
Answer:Long press “menu” key 2 seconds,the keyboard will be locked/unlocked.
10.What is the difference between RB615 and RB15？
Answer:RB615 is PMR446 license-free two way radio, 0.5W power,446MHz,suitable for Europe.But RB15 is FRS license-free two way radio,0.5W/2W power,462MHz,suitable for USA, Canada etc.
10.About the programming cable of RB615.
Answer:RB615/RB15 should use its special programming cable, the other Write frequency cables cannot be used.
